An affirmation is a short powerful positive statement that we make about a person, place, thing or situation. It is something we state to ourselves. A affirmation should be written in the present tense and stated as if it is already true.

Because you are constantly claiming and calling things into your existence through your thoughts or belief systems, it is important that you are in conscious control of your thoughts.

Here are a few examples of how to word your affirmation:

Always empty your fruits and vegetables out of the plastic veggie bags from the market. I'm sure you have noticed that your fruits and veggies sweat if they remain too long in the plastic bag. Removing the plastic will help to keep your food fresh while eliminating the chemicals that are passed from the plastic into your food.

The Power Of Clay

Clay is one of the most profound elements in nature. It is a naturally occuring substance that contains minerals, trace elements, and nutrients. Clays are high in magnesium, calcium, and iron. All of these minerals help the production of collegen in the skin. Those minerals also provide nutrition to the living skin layers in the dermis. Using clay helps to smooth and soften the skin while improving the skins circulation. It not only exfoliates but tones and firms the skin as well.

Clay is naturally absorbent and draws out toxins, bacteria, and viruses from deep within the skins tissues. It also absorbs excess oils and dirt. In a nutshell, clay gently cleanses and detoxifies the skin.As you can see the benefits of clay are many. The benefit highly increases when the clay is coupled with other natural elements such as herbs and essential oils.

Goddess Of Nature uses a combination of clays, essential oils, and herbs in her products. Please stay tuned for other blog postings regarding the availability of those items.

Pumpkin is a excellent source of beta carotene. It also contains a multitude of vitamins and minerals with strong antioxidant protection. Besides eating pumpkin, did you know that it is one of the most powerful ingredients used in the skin care field? The natural fruit acids, along with Vitamins A, C, E, minerals and replenishing enzymes make it a great exfoliant, breakout inhibitor, and pore refiner for your skin.

Pumpkin also decreases oxidation and free radical stress in the skin. It is extraordinarily effective for dull, sluggish smoker's skin as it stimulates circulation, promotes healing, and provides vitamin nutrition leaving skin glowing and healthy looking. If this isn't enough, it further helps to restore elasticity while allowing ingredients to better penetrate the skin. So, try some pumpkin this fall and use it all year long for radiant, silky smooth skin!

Did you know that many baby products contain carcinogens? Chemicals such as formaldehyde, and 1,4-dioxane to name a few. Some of these ingredients are known to cause cancers and other skin misfortunes. The Environmental Working Group is a great site that helps you stay informed with environmental toxins that are added to consumer products. Check out the site: http://ewg.org/node/27718

Please review the reports and conduct your own investigations. Our environment is already toxic enought. Why subject our children to these horrible horrible products just because of the brand name???

Contact Goddess Of Nature for a simple skin care analysis and custom made childrens' product. "Your baby deserves pure freshness".
